When did this happen? What's up with that?

LOL...I'm getting old.

My 12 year old listens to KORN! Like I could stop her from listening to any damm thing she wants to anyway, no one could stop me from listening to what I wanted to. The only thing I can stop is it playing in my house.

Hi Zammie Baby!

Hey Pez! :D

He's a lil stud to be sure ;)

But rap? <sigh>

Ok, ok...Angel is a good song, I guess (begrudging sigh)

:)

My little sister is 12 and she listens to punk/rock, my music. Which is good cause when she comes over I don't have to listen to any crap but it sucks cause she plays the same cds over and over and it makes my grow to slowly hating said cd. Like if I hear System of a Down's Toxicity cd one more time, I may explode. And I find myself telling her to turn that shit down all the time but it's really my shit that she's blasting! Jesus, I'm turning into something even my mother never was.

:D

My six year old just learned all the words to the new Eminem CD...

I hope she doesn't sing it while she is at her dads house..

Well it's my fault she learned it.. I've played the cd so much lately that she has had no choice but to learn the lyrics.

She does this though.. learns the lyrics to my current "favorite" CD.. so far I've been lucky.. she hasn't sung (sang?) them in public or around grandma..:D

I burned the Eminem CD for my other kids.. ages 15, 13 and 12.. Hopefully they are smart enough to not let their dad listen.. Or I'll be in a heap of shit from him ;)

my lil brother listens to ...

*ahem*
Bad punk.....like Weeten.....*groan* childish....simply childish....
And bad dance dance revolution music....:p

Fortunately my 9 year old is still into Britney, Backstreet Boys and Aaron Carter. I can tolerate them. Of course, she will also listen to (thanks to Mom's influence) classical music, Enya, Styx, Elvis and her latest fave, Joe Satriani. :D

I can't keep mine away from they want forever, but until then its fun stuff. We listen to Beatles, and oldies like Wooly Bully, Wipeout, rock around the clock. Stuff you can get up and snap your fingers to.

Hey silverluna -- DDR music rocks! And that new game (what's it called? where you step in the corners and in the middle? maybe Stompdown...) has a fun techno remix of Beethoven that's almost as cool.
