Anyone seen a good perfomance lately...? If not, what one concert would you attend if you could...?

The best concert I ever attended was probably AC/DC, but the Clint Black concert was good too (if you like country).

If I could see any band live...it would have to be Pink Floyd

John Mayer

Bonnie Raitt

50+ years old and still sexy and can play guitar as good as any man.

Hendrix?

I've caught quite a few great, even historic, shows. I've made a point of seeing some of rocks most significant acts. But the shows that I really want to see are the ones that once were and now will never be again.

I work with a guy, a cool old dude, whose wife actually saw Jimi Hendrix open for The Monkees in Florida! I understand that bill only did 3 shows before the promoter had to admit that those two bands had no common fan base. Another guy I work with attended the '67 Monterey Pop Festival when he was only 14. Imagine catching Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and the Who, all on the same stage for the same night.

For every show that I've seen, like the Stones, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, or B.B. King, there's acts that I missed, like Janis Joplin, Muddy Waters, Jim Morisson, or Jerry Garcia.

I attend lots of concerts, but I didn't start until the very late '70s. I have to content myself with watching the concert films of those great '60s shows.

Rock and Roll is a fluid medium. Catch it before it's gone.

I've seen a decent amount of shows. Not quite like the Hendrix, Beatles etc. but ones that I'll always remember. The two that stick out in my mind would be first the Up in Smoke Tour a couple years back. Pretty much every one of my favourite rappers all on the same stage.

The second would be when I saw The Tragically Hip in London, Ontario with only about a thousand people. The small venue was incredible. A friend of mine slept on the street for those tickets. :)

Sooo many I wanna see right now...

Something Corporate, Bright Eyes, Dashboard Confessional, Hot Hot Heat, Sparta, New Found Glory....all kinds of stuff.

My friend Andre is taking me to a Jerry Cantrell show in late October, so that should be dope.

Hmm..the chance to see anyone...Bah. Too many choices...

I want to see the Beastie Boys in a small smoky club doing all their old shit. It'll probably never happen; they're a big arena act now. :(

The last thing I saw was Paul McCartney in Philly back in april. For 60 the man kicked ass for nearly three hours. Alot of touching moments, as well. Tributes to both John and George that had the audience (me too) in tears. See if any of the shows on the last leg of the tour are coming near your town. Fuck it spend the cash you won't regret it.
