Alright... it's not that I bought the book that makes me ashamed.

Or that I enjoyed the book.

Or that my late hours and quick reading skillz meant I finished it in six hours.

It's that I got all warm and tingly when Harry and Ginny hooked up that makes me go "wtf".

*rubs eyes*

*hugs*

even if your a sad Potter reading so and so*L*

Nice title for the thread btw!

My sister has got the book, but I've not been impressed with the phenomenon so far!

OK, confession time, I've been a HP/JKR fan since vol. 1 got published... Our copy of the latest has been sitting in the kitchen all day, with none of the 3 of us wanting to be seen to grab 'Me first!'.

Looked at from here, that, "Harry and Ginny hooked up" is no surprise - I went to a boarding school and all the mundane stuff is highly realistic (one reason I liked it from first acquaintance) - so writing it that the hook-up happens is no big surprise.

I look forward to "warm and tingly" myself!

PS I also empathise with JKR too - I'm a disillusioned teacher myself. I wish her all the best with the brass she deserves.

All I can say is, that was the best laugh I've had in a couple of years.

I'm almost sorry that I'm not a 11-16 now, what a wonderful series to grow up to.

*sigh*

Sincerely,
elSol
