We've got popcorn, cheap soda, and some lunchmeat.

We've also got:

The Secret War of Henry Frigg
Operation Petticoat
Mr. Roberts
The Dirty Dozen
Green Berets
and Ensign Pulver

and we skipped on the cheap plastic cemetary flowers. We're holding a nice dinner to reminicse this evening.

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend your day

Green Berets is one of my fave movies ...... have the hankies nearby

I have a lot of the big "Epic" war movies, but to watch them all would take roughly a week ("Saving Private Ryan", "Patton", "Tora, Tora, Tora", "Midway", etc).

I think I'll go with small and quirky, but excellent movies:

Kelly's Heroes
The Siege of Firebase Gloria
The Boys from Company B
The Big Red One

I just love the movies made back in the 50s and 60s. There was something....intangible...about them that make them resonate so well with me.

I gotta work. WOOHOO!!!! But, if I wanted to watch an epic war movie, the only 1 I have is SPR.
