Perhaps you may have read this from Daily Mirror or other tabloids, but it is still a very shocking story to me.
It took place in Yongchang County, Gansu Province in the northwestern part of China.
An old man reported to the local police that his son, a 21-year-old man, could not be seen for a few days.
Later, police found the dead body of this young man at a burial site and the culprits were caught soon, who confessed that they, a group of 7 boys aged from 12-14 years, hit the tied young man with cudgels and sticks, after he was found to shadow a girl of 14 years old, the girlfriend of one of them.
He was caught by the septwolves and put on knees and struck hard with heavy things at hand and lost his conciousness a number of times during the days he was prisoned in a secret place, with part of the process being filmed by cell phone.
The captive then was taken to a deserted land and put into a hole they digged, believing he was dead. But the police later said at that time he was only in coma and could be saved if left unburied.
The case has sparked hot debates in China of how old a minor should be held accountable and immediately put to death by court for his very seriouds wrongdoing.
