Hello, all.

My wife and I have just recently found your forum, through a suggestion in another forum.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the writers who have written the stories my wife and I enjoy so much.

You allow us to live out our fantasies vicariously through your prose.

You are very welcome. Personally, I enjoy writing the stories I do and I especially like them if I know that people enjoy reading them.

Crowded Fantasy,

Thanks so much for your post and for your kind words.

I completely endorse Boxlicker's sentiments. I love writing and the fact that I know people enjoy reading my stories and others on the site AND that they appreciate the efforts of the writers, just thrills me and motivates me to write more.

Happy reading,

You are both very welcome.

Since I fear we will never live out our fantasies, we enjoy living them out through the wonderful stories found here.

With so many to choose from, we should be busy for a long, long time.:D

Green Gem.....Very nice avy.;)

I'll just add my appreciation for readers to that of the others.

I write because I enjoy it, but having someone else enjoy my stories puts the icing on the cake.

You're welcome.

:D

Thanks CrowdedFantasy :) we try to 'please' in more ways than one!

I decline to regret not living out my fantasies *grin* I am with Wilde on this - some art is all the better for declining to attempt reality. One of the things I love about writing and about textual fun of all sorts is its joyous, rampant refusal of reality. Probably why I write stories that are decidedly unrealistic. I think it's worth celebrating the utter freedom from dull mundanity :)

(But then, I'm in the midst of two "non-human" stories, so I'm biased ;) )

I have to agree with the idea of writing stories that are totaly imposiable or improbable. It is fun to read about things that would never happen in real life. Unfortunatly some people take them too seriously

Part of me realizes that it is a very rare chance indeed that our fantasies will become reality and probably for the better.

For now, we are quite content to share our fantasy realm together.

"Non Human"?

I'll have to check that out.

Personally, I identify with my usual protag., George Boxlicker. I gave him my first name and my handle for a last name. I have never had such a great sex life as he has and probably nobody else has either. Dozens of beautiful women call him up and ask to come over for sex, or ask to go to his place. Within that framework, though, I try to make the stories realistic. The men use condoms for vaginal and anal sex but not oral. The protag depends on Viagra. When in a sex scene with women and other men, the men are hung better than he is. In a movie, the man puts his cock at the entrance to her ass or pussy, gives one little thrust and it is all the way in. That's not realistic so in the stories, the men give a series of thrusts before making full penetration. The women immensely enjoy their orgasms, probably even more than the men, which may not be realistic, but I write that way.

Fair point on the meanings of "realistic." I like realistic character motivation - that is, internally consistant development of a personality and coherent relation of actions. For example, one of my protags in "Meer Kass" is of a non-existant alien species, but my goal was to make her personality comprehensible and meaningful. And I'm with you, Box, on the issue of making sex details reasonably realistic in many settings. On other other hand, there's always room for a good "alien tentacle" story in my opinion ;)
