Yeah... I was pretty disappointed when I heard he was hosting - I've never been impressed with him... but I do have to say the opening "operatic" musical number wasn't bad...

The J-Lo/Ja Rule Number was pretty cool - couldn't take my eyes off of J-Lo...

Yes... true. I notice that at the Oscar's every year - they recognize those that died in the previous year - and a lot of the names come as a shock to me - because they weren't "a-list" enough to make the news...

Alicia Keys...this is such a sexy song. I've only downloaded this song. Her cd is "Songs in A Minor."

And yes...she is incredible. Classically trained painist with an urban flair.

I usually like the various MTV award shows - because they play if for fun --- in the early years they didn't take it seriously at all - I think they take it more seriously now - but still, overall, more fun then the other awards shows. And usually at least a couple of outstanding performances...

And.. uh... well... hot babes in sexy dresses!
