lol I got both too, freakygurl. When I got the 2nd one I though to myself, "Damn they're anal." (and not in that good way, either!)
Since presumably a bunch of MSN Messenger users are going to open this, has anyone else had a problem with the pesky thing staying on the status to which you set it? I stay invisible on it, because I don't like using it as a messenger, but the damned thing just goes visible now and then all on it's own and I'm forced to talk to my mother and various other people I'm studiously avoiding.

RastaPope, I'm a devout ICQ disciple but I've been having a conflict of faith lately.
Trillian looks so damned tempting. Compared to the good old standby IMs, what features does it lack? Is it fairly stable? If all of your friends were kind enough to use a single IM program, would you still use Trillian over that IM?

i got yahoo also, just cause i like the imviroments and i can talk to a friend while she is working at one of the local colleges, she is the secretary, and its good to use when the S.O and i play games on yahoo to talk to her

Trillian has most of the features but leaves off the special stuff. You can't connect to Yahoo rooms...No cam functions...So I keep Yahoo on my hard drive. But it's damned useful.
