You really are exceptionally clever. Thank you most sincerely for offering me the chance to learn this. It was a rare pleasure.

Don't know what she taught you, but I swear I learn something from her just about everyday...isn't she brilliant?

I often sit afar and admire Collen. I find that when I try to stand too close, I can not tolerate her being and essence. She is a most fantastic person and I often feel inadequate being around her.

Okay...that's a bit overdone, but seriously, she is a fantastic person.

I know I can't compare to her wit and intellect, that's why I just sit back and admire her. :rose:

kudos

hear, hear,

Most of the time Colly is unequaled in her mastery of the facts, and ability to present them in argument.

Agreed. This time, however, I was thinking of her fiction.

OK, no-one else seems willing to ask, so I will.

Which one Shang?? Which of her masterpieces has made such an indelible impression on you??

Adding my own voice to the chorus of Ms. Colly's admirers.

As good hearted and wise as anyone I've ever met.

Cleva? Yep, she is.

And consistently so. Many of you peeps are. It never ceases to amaz eme how you can keep some of those seriouus debate threads running with round after round of well thought out and intelligent replies. I could never dream to be clever in more than momentaty bursts.

Ps

to Shang,

I will add that, because of her mastery of facts (=research) her excellent fiction always has a 'real world' gritty feel to it, something many stories (present company excepted) lack.

I like Colly cause she's pretty and she has really shapely legs that makes me all squirmy every time I look at them and she has a pretty face and she's really nice and smart and she writes really good and stuff too

Darnoel told me to read her stories cause I could learn a lot from her and stuff and I read a bunch of them but she has so many and a lot of them are long so it might take me a while to read them all but Darnoel was right I learned a lot from them especially things to do with other girls and stuff and thats fun but Darnoel says he was talking about learning to write better which is something I dont do good but I want to be better and i wish I was as good as Colly but by the time I learn to be that good she'll be even better so I know I wont ever be as good as her but thats ok cause she makes me want to write better and thats whats impotent and stuff

It's not posted yet. ;) But it's brilliant. And Pure is right - her mastery of fine factual details is most impressive. It takes both enormous dedication to research and a deft hand at integration to bring it off so lightly and yet so well.

I know the one you're talking about! Just finished it yesterday, and you're right, it's brilliant. :)

Ah. Gotcha.

I haven't read it yet, was busy editing another.
Looking forward to reading it.

I always wondered what those monkey trying to type Shakespear experiments looked like.

Don't let all the "warm fuzzies" go to your head, kid. The only reason folks are saying them is because they're true. :rose:
