moving north to New England

hi, everyone. i'm currently in VA and about to make a big move north to CT. i'm not a southerner by any means (i'm an army brat) but i have spent most of my time in the south east.

i'm looking forward to the move, but at the same time i'm a bit nervous. i'd like to meet some New Englanders online to exchange emails and do kind of a pen pal thing. age, sex, race doesn't really matter to me. just looking to get to know some nice people in the area.

a bit about myself: i'm 24, but that's an old 24 i'm a bit of a goof and fun to be around, but i've always gotten along well with people older than me. i'm pretty open to diversity as i'm diverse myself. with my dad in the army i've lived in 5 states, another country (S. Korea) and visited a bunch of places. i enjoy reading when i have the time (almost never recently) and doing things outdoors. i'm also a bit of a technophile and like to read about different technologies (i can't afford to play with them hands on ).

hey, just so you all know, i'm a straight male. i don't mind talking to guys or girls, but i'm looking mostly for a pen pal type friendship so i can get a feel for what people and things in general are like in New England. i'm not opposed to online romances, but i don't really expect them to happen either. so hopefully someone on lit can dig what i'm saying and drop me a message.
