Name: Dana Taylor
Age: 18
Description: long blond hair, blue eyes, 5'4'', 38D chest, athletic body, caramel skin

Dana Taylor was a typical 18 year old girl. Well typical enough in that she liked the basic things. Though she was never a fan of her stepmother Michelle, not to say the stepmother was a fan of hers either. The two were always arguing over something. The woman was overly strict and Dana's father seemed to have just let the woman take over the house. Yet Michelle always insisted on being called Mom but Dana wouldn't have it. Instead she constantly made a point on calling the woman Michelle.

Now tonight, it seems that Michelle had had enough of the teenager and packed Dana's stuff up while the girl had been at school. Dana had come home from cheerleading practice to find her stuff in bags on the front lawn. Unfortunately for Dana, it seemed Michelle had her father wrapped around her little finger. And so Dana was forced to be outside, scared and lost, unsure of what to do.

Name: David Johnson
Age: 49
Description: black hair with grey and white streaks, blue eyes, 5' 11", strong powerful body, tanned skin

It was late when David was coming home. He was tired after a long day at the office, and he was eager to get home. He was almost home when he spotted a familiar shape huddled outside the Taylor home. Familiar, only in the fact he'd recognize that long blond hair anywhere. What really drew his attention was the pile of bags surrounding her. Unless she was taking out the trash, something she never did, there was no reason for young Dana Taylor to be outside with a pile of bags. David slowed to a stop in front of Dana's house.

"Dana?" he asked rolling down his window. "What are you doing out here? Are you okay? You look - upset..."

Dana was quite upset, confused and scared since she had no where to go. She couldn't ask her friends to take her in and she was too estranged from her father's family to ask them. She turned to look at Mr. Johnson when he approached her. "Oh. Hi Mr. Johnson. I'm not exactly out here by choice. Michelle packed my stuff up and kicked me out the house." Her disdain for her stepmother was clear in her voice as she said the older woman's name.

David was shocked. He got out of his car, and knelt beside her. He placed a hand on her shoulder. "I... My god, you always said your step-mother was a bitch, but this is crazy!" He shook his head. "Hopefully your father will put her in her place, and things will be alright again. In the meantime; do you have any place to stay, tonight? Maybe you and Michelle just need some time to cool off. I can't believe your father would let her do that to you."

Dana shook her head with a sigh. "Daddy won't put her in her place. She has him wrapped around her finger. " She dabbed at her eyes. "I don't have anywhere to go. My friends are all at a party by now. And I'd rather not ask them anyway." She closed her eyes tight not wanting to cry in front of Mr. Johnson. "I'll figure something out. I'm sure the kids are expecting you."

David was very surprised things could be that bad. Surely Dana was exadurating. She and Michelle must have had an epic fight for the woman to go to such drastic and barbaric measures. Hopefully she'd calm down. But first things first. Dana couldn't spend the night sleeping on her lawn, much less anywhere outside.

"You can stay at my place, for the night," he offered. "I'm sure Priscilla and Tommy wouldn't mind."

Dana bit her lip momentarily to hold back the tears a little longer before shaking her head. "Oh no Mr. Johnson. I couldn't impose on you and the kids like that....It wouldn't be right." Even though she knew deep down she shouldn't refuse since he was offering her shelter even if it was only for the night.

David reached out and put a comforting arm around Dana. "Well it's not right for your step mother to kick you out of your own home. It's the least I can do, short of going in there myself and making her let you back in. I don't think either she nor your father would want me sticking my nose in that mess. I insist: stay with me, until we can get this all sorted out."

Dana chuckled a bit then as the image of him going in and making her stepmother let her back in was quite a funny one. "It wouldn't have worked anyway. She'd been wanting to get me out the house ever since she married him. And I'd been wanting to get out since then. I just....had hoped to leave on my terms...." She looked at him and smiled. "Alright then. If you're sure I won't be a burden, then I'd love to stay with you and the kids. I'll help out however I can. Promise."

"Alright," chuckled David with a fatherly grin. "Here, let me help you with your things." He took some of the bags, and placed them in the back seats. He was still a little skeptical that anyone would be so cruel and spiteful as to throw a child who wasn't thiers out onto the streets, but here was Dana. The best he could do was make her comfortable until things settled down at her place.

She watched as he grabbed some of her bags before she grabbed the rest and loaded them into the car. "I really do appreciate this Mr. Johnson." When all the bags were loaded, she got into the car. She was a little excited, she adored Priscilla and Tommy and they seemed to adore her.

"It's the least I can do for you," David said with a smile. "You can stay as long as you need to. I'm sure the kids won't mind."

David drove home with Dana. When he arrived, he took out her bags, and hauled them inside. His children were waiting for him, and were very excited to see him. Tommy's eyes lit up when he saw Dana, and ran to hug her. Priscilla was a little apprehensive.

"Are you going to be going out tonight, daddy?" she asked.

"No, princess," David told her. "Dana's going to be staying here for a little while. She's having problems at home, and I'm letting her stay here until they're all over. They're personal problems, and I don't think Dana really wants to talk about them."

"Oh. Okay." Priscilla turned and smiled at Dana. "Hi. I don't mind you staying here. I hope everything's okay."

Dana laughed when Tommy ran over to hug her and hugged him back. "Hello to you too Tommy." She'd sobered at hearing Priscilla ask if Mr. Johnson was going out and let out a breath she hadn't even known she was holding after hearing him explaining in a way that let the kids know not to ask questions.

She was smiling again when Priscilla next spoke. "Thanks Priscilla. I'm sure everything will work out." She didn't want to make the kids worry about her. "I'm looking forward to the extra time with you and Tommy in the meantime."

Priscilla and her little brother smiled up at Dana, then began telling her and thier father all about thier days. David listened patiently, moving about his chores slowly and deliberately. Then Priscilla scuttled off to her room, towing her brother behind her by the wrist. She'd been in the middle of playing computer games with him, and was eager to resume. Finally David let out a sigh.

"Okay, now about where you'll sleep... There's a guest bedroom in the basement, where my parents sleep when they used to come to and visit. It's really comfy. Let me take your stuff down there, and after dinner, I'll give it good cleaning. There's even a shower and a bathroom down there."

Dana held back a giggle as she listened to the kids tell their father about their days. It was nice to see they were just as animated telling him as they were telling her when she babysat them. She let out the giggles when the kids headed back to Priscilla's room though.

She listened to Mr. Johnson explain about the guest room downstairs. "I can help clean if you want?"

"You don't have to, especially if you have homework, or something," David said, carrying Dana's stuff down the stairs into the basement. He glanced back to make sure she was following. "Are you hungry? I still need to feed the kids, and I'm pretty sure you haven't had a chance to get some dinner."

"It's not too much homework and I got most of it done at lunch at school." She followed him down to the basement. What's left is little stuff I can put off long enough to help clean up down here." Before she could answer his question about being hungry, her stomach decided to answer for her, growling quite loudly as she blushed in shame. "It has been a while."

"Alright then," David said. "I'll go ahead and clean out the bathroom and vacuum, if you will make the bed. The sheets are upstairs in the hall closet. This is where you'll be staying - " He showed her the suit. It was small, with a bare mattress on a metal frame, a dresser, and a door leading to a tiny bathroom with a toilet, sink, and walk-in shower. The room did have a door. Unfortunately, it was next to the water heater and the furnace. But it was still private and cozy.

"I hope it's to your liking."

Dana looked around the suite. It was small but it would do. It's not like she needed that much anyway. That it had a private bathroom was a nice plus though in her opinion. She headed upstairs to get the sheets, quickly returning downstairs to make the bed. "It's just fine Mr. Johnson. Thank you."

David had just finished cleaning the toilet when Dana returned. He smiled at her. "I hope it will be comfortable for you," he told her. "It's the least I can do for you. You've done do much for me."

Dana smiled. "I'm sure it'll be just fine. I really do appreciate this Mr. Johnson." She started making the bed.
