OOC: Elizabeth Jacobs, 18, 5'4'', dark red hair, bright blue eyes, pale skin, 36C
Elizabeth sighed as she pulled the oversized leather coat tighter around her 5'4'' frame. It was raining, hard, and she had been walking for the past ten minutes, trying to find her brother's apartment. She wasn't even sure it was worth it, her older, graduated brother had his own life and his troublemaking little sister probably didn't factor into that any more. Her mother had finally gotten tired of Elizabeth being gone clubbing every night and coming home tanked, that she had kicked her out, leaving her only daughter with a couple hundred dollars, a backpack full of clothes, and nowhere in particular to go. So, Elizabeth turned to the only person she could think of- her big brother. She just had to find him first.
She squinted at the building in front of her, matching it up with the address on the envelope she held. It was hard to tell, as the envelope was soaked, but she was pretty sure she was finally at the right building. She pressed the buzzer for apartment 3C, waiting for her brother to answer her. "Yeah?" he finally said, and Elizabeth sighed with relief at the familiar voice.
"Hey, it's Liz. Can I come up, please? It's raining like hell out here and I'm freezing!" she said into the intercom.
A pause. Then, "Liz? Yeah, sure. Come on in, I'll meet you in the lobby."
There was a small buzz and a click and Elizabeth pushed the door open and sighed happily at the warmth of the building. She looked around, impressed. Her big brother had done good for himself. She only hoped he'd let her stay a few days before he got sick of her, too and kicked her out on her ass.
She grabbed a black plastic comb out of the pocket of the jacket she was wearing and quickly ran it through her hair as she waited for her brother.
