Movies NOT to see

Re: Sweet November

Which one? The original w/ Sandy Dennis or the remake?
I cried buckets over the first one.

I didn't know there was a 2nd one. I'm not watchin the first one...that's for sure.

Ugh

The second was worst than the first. The Keanu and Charlize combo. just didn't do it for me. The 1968 version was better, (but not by much). The story just didn't take off, nice premise though.

Zoolander is also a waste of money. (I'm sure there more but that was the first one that came to mind.)

I watched Stigmata tonight with the roommates, I can't stand those "lets question christanity" movies, they annoy the hell out of me and I just always think "when will the damn movie end"!!! This stupid I hate talking about this, let alone seeing a movie aobut it. Not to mention I was drunk too, and usually I find things more intresting when drunk.

I watched a bit of the movie this afternoon "Tuesdays with Morrie." I turned it off after a while, the movie sucked compared to the book. I thought the book was brilliant and very mind provoking....

Don't waste your time on the movie... read the book !!!!

No, no, no Zoolander is hilarious! It's classic Ben Stiller, but you had to have known that going in. The DVD has all kind of extra stuff including the original VH1 shorts. Ben Stiller is one cool guy, he makes as much fun of himself in the movie as he does modeling. I say rent it.

I'll make my list quite simple.

Anything that has Steven Segal in it.

All Hugh Grant films...

And as a given: All Tom Green films suck.

You think we watch him for the acting  ;) :p

I was just sitting here wondering why he never won an Oscar for his fine acting skills.

I'd like to test out some of his other skills and I don't mean his Karate... :p

I was King of the Damned...

when I saw that damned movie. Okay, bad pun, but seriously folks, I have never seen a sequel be that much worse than the original ever. That includes Home Alone 2 (but not 3). Watching the Queen of the Damned made me afraid to ever write anything on paper again, in case someone decides to distort it into some horrible movie. Admittedly, I haven't read the book, but Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire was so magnificent, I'm sure Queen of the Damned was much worse that the literary version.

Well, Four Weddings and a Funeral was good and Road Trip was fantastic, but I can't name a good Steven Segal movie. But then again I haven't seen that many.

Dude where's my car or American Pie 2. You will lose faith in humanity or become Nihilistic.

You mean Lost in Space. And yes, it most certainly sucked.

Hello, my name is Mellon Collie and I am a sci fi loving geek.

That movie's funny! Stupid, yes...but funny as hell.

Stigmata was pretty worthless.

I liked The Cable Guy.

I also avoid anything with Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock. Add Meg Ryan to that list.

I thought that "Unbreakable" movie was lame beyond belief.

"Dude, where's my car?"
"Where's your car, Dude?"
"Dude, where's my car?"
"Where's your car, Dude?"
"Dude, where's my car?"
"Where's your car, Dude?"
"Dude, where's my car?"
"Where's your car, Dude?"

"NO MORE 'and then'!"

that movie....haahahah... OMG the bubblewrap suits<snicker>

I liked stigmata, but then again I'm a pk and love questioning religion on any level.

Movies I hated:
City of Angels
Eyes Wide Shut<and I'm normally a Kubrick fan>
Me, Myself & Irene

Titanic

The boat sank.

Hated that movie. Thought it sucked.

Resident Evil (it is like Dawn of the Dead 2002) and the plot is so-so with cheesy acting.

I liked Cableguy and American Pie 1 & 2 btw.........funny as hell. Cableguy is dark humor and spoofs on many films. Sorority Boys was a good stupid-humor film.

Blade 2 was a go-seer. :D

Right on man!

dude where's my car just sucked period.
American Pie 2 was just as bad as the first one. Deliver me from "teen" movies!

Atificial Intelligence.

That movie sucked so bad. It just kept going and going. When I thought it was over I started to get ready, grabbed my jacket and sat for another HOUR! I have never hated a movie more. It should have ended when the robot committed suicide but no, let's watch him sit there for a billion years.
