Movie Scenes!

From All The President's Men (the Kenneth Dahlberg scene):

From 1:15 in, it's a 6 minute continuous shot of Robert Redford talking on the phone, but it's utterly compelling. There are no fancy camera moves, just a slow zoom. If the McGregor/Dahlberg slip really is a blooper, Redford ran with it brilliantly.

All the President's Men is absolutely one of my favorite films of all time. There are a number of choice scenes in that movie. In particular:

Some really compelling stuff. Pakula was amazing

Hrm. I do love Fargo, Dead Man, and even All the President's Men has merit, but I'm not quite seeing the appeal of the rabbit scene, pointless. Maybe it's one of those movies you just have to see in its entirety.

Speaking of rabbits, though, here's one of the funniest scenes in movie history:

The sex scene with Rene Russo and Pierce Brosnan in Thomas Crown Affair. Oh.... stairs!!!!

My favorite speech from my favorite movie ever: To Kill a Mockingbird.

I couldn't find the video of the actual scene, but just listening to Gregory Peck deliver the closing argument in Tom Robinson's trial is mesmerizing to me.
