I was watching "Battle Ship" for the second time several nights ago. You know the part where the USS Missouri BB63 was reactivated to fight the aliens, but needed WWII Veterans to call her to duty and fight again?
Wasn't there plans to reactivate at least 4 US Battleships to modern specs with ion or electromagnetic cannons for this century? Not too far sci-fi as the movie to be considered realistically possible?
