I've just begun watching a movie called Youth Without Youth, a Romanian/Italian film.

A Francis Ford Coppola film. Set in the beginning of WWII A linguistics professor, aging and near the end of life is struck by a bold of lightning. He ages in reverse from 70 to 40, pursues lost dreams, knowledge and the secrets of life until he is discovered.

For some reason I see bdsm themes throughout the storyline but those may only be my own perception of it.

I'll update as the movie proceeds but the nurses in their antique dreses look quite nice.

If I type it's probably because I'm typing while watching the movie.

It's getting interesting. The nazis are interested in his miraculous youth. Also, his memory has become perfect to the point where from looking at a photo from his past he can recollect all of the sensations and thoughts at the time of the photo. He has also seemingly developed multiple personalities, some of who are not exactly nice or naieve. As the nazi's attempt to manipulate him with a female operative via sex and psychology he is quietly manipulating everyone around him for his own needs and it seems amusement. Unfortunately, he is pained by his perfect memories of past losses/loves.

Very bdsm'y with the mental twists, psychological pressures, etc. His alter ego talks to him in mirrors which is interesting in the way the scenes are shot. I like this movie.

The movie takes some interesting turns and twists but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who wants to watch it. I think that anyone with some intellect and appreciation for art would enjoy this movie.

There's a lot of paranormal stuff in it also. It's not my usual fare which would consist of b grade sci-fi movies or horror flicks.
