I want a gene spliced DNA composite of James Bond....Edward Scissorhands, and Leon to marry and knock up lavender and the result will be the International Funboy, Martini swilling motherfucker....

I am the Omegaman and the rest of you are all mutants trying to destroy my beautiful technology.

Actually, upon reflection I'd like to be Kenny from Half Baked. Except for the Prison thing.

Since Indy was taken by Siren first...

I'll pick Jack Nicholson's character from "The Witches of Eastwick"

Darrell Van Horn (sp?)

If it's who I'm thinking it is...
Jean Reno's character from "The Professional"

Major-league ass-kicker...

Chef

Leon was the main character from the Professional (It was released as "leon" in it's original cut)

And nothing makes me marry lavender....explain?

Rooster Cogburn.

"FILL YOUR HANDS YOU SON'S OF BITCH'S"

True grit.

I've heard that they re-cut that film for the USA does he not die in the US version ?

Outsider

They added footage to the new US Release ( I assume it's now like the international release) .....the story is unchanged except that the relationship seems more adult....
not kinky or anything, it's subtle....

The original US edit ended the same as the international one.....
the new stuff deals mostly with Leon and Mathilda's interaction..

You said it in the original bit, you'd marry and knock her up...
Just wondered how the gene splicing thing worked like that.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I almost chose The Man With No Name...

Another major-league ass-kicker!

I remember every sunday when I was a kid there'd be a John Wayne or Errol Flynn film on in the afternoon and I would sit and watch them with my dad.

Do you know I never even thought about Clint Eastwood but now that you've mentioned him I think it'd be to much of a cliche and I always thought JW had more character than CE.

Favourite Errol Flynn film is an early one called Dawn Patrol he was in it with David Niven, if you ever get the chance you should read the books David Niven wrote about his life and career, I know one was called "The moon's a balloon" but I can't recall the title of the other.

My dad was always a big John Wayne & Clint Eastwood fan. I just always liked Clint... maybe because he just seemed "cooler" than John. You know how kids are...

Never really saw anything with Errol Flynn. I've always heard a lot about him, but I guess his movies were just before my time. Maybe AMC or TCM will show something.

As far as the books, I'll definitely keep them in mind! I've always found the behind-the-scenes situations more interesting, anyway...
