I loved the Sofa King, so I thought i'd share with you guys. At my daughter's workplace, which that day was largely female, the following note was passed aound:

I am wee Todd did

I am Sofa King wee Todd did

Most of them got it right off, laughed and passed it on, but there was one girl who just looked accusingly back at the person who passed it to her, and said, "I don't get it."

"Just read it aloud, it's cool."

"'I am wee Todd did.' I still don't get it. 'I am Sofa King wee Todd did.'"

I'm not a big fan of it myself.

Cant, on another note, there is a game called MadGab where you say things like that and people have to figure out what it actually is. Its realy fun. You should check it out.

That's why the title of the thread. Some Belgian guy named van Rooten did this enormously cool book by that title. Mots d'heures: gousses, rames

If you can read the bizarre spellings of French, it's hilarious. It's structured like the Sofa King thing, but he works in another dimension by trying to explain the meanings of the French poems. I read three or four of them before Un petit d'un petit tipped me off to what was going on.

Un petit d'un petit
S'étonne aux Halles...

:D
