"caught" implies something improper. If it is hubby and wife being walked in on, isn't that interrupted rather than caught?

which is not to say that MIL joining in would be a bad thing...

That was exactly what I was thinking when I read leeburton's post as well!

And, as you said, the term "mother-in-law" leads one to believe that her son is an adult, and therefore cannot "catch" her son with his wife, and so on... lol
