I am 28 and have been married to my wife for 7 years and have been with her for a total of 12, yes since 16 we are both the same age. I know it's not unrealistic, especially in this day and age. "Babies" are having babies every day. But, 20-40 years ago it was less common for a child to become pregnant.

My original question to SmilingDingo was out of mere curiosity. I even jotted down the details he gave since I was considering his story. He changed the mom's age three times and got his facts wrong. That's when I began to wonder if this wasn't real.

Upon reading his profile I also read his one other past post. (I am always curious when someone has been registered for a while but has a very low number of posts. He wrote basically the same thing he wrote here in the General board.)

20-40 y/o girls could get married at 16, might still can. I really hate the age bit. Most stories can do well without detailing the ages of the characters.

Mother, daughter, grandmother....which came first, the chicken or the egg.

Readers can figure that out by themselves, I hope.

MY two cents....lol

1959...my grandmother was "voted" the youngest grandmother of the year award....she was 28...her daughter...my mother ( who was married on her 14th birthday ) was 14 years, 10 months and 25 days old when she had my oldest brother...on sept. 30th 1959.

Children were having children even back then....just those young ladies were usually hiden from the community...sent off to "school", aunts and uncles, who "lived" far away....

I am a 41 young/old father of a 16 year old now, myself....I hope I have set the example for him to....keep his dick in his pants, but I am not so dumb...I did talk about protection and AIDS and any other STDs.

Sex is beautiful....but the risk are so much higher today....

my 2 cents ... some time ago I read a story about a young woman. She was 16 years old when she gave birth to a daughter. And when this daughter was 11 !!! she got pregnant. So at 27, this woman is already a grandma.

It all comes down to mathematics. Some girls get their period when they are 9. And I even heard a few cases where 7 year old girls have their period ... so basically, if this 7 year old girl would get pregnant, and her daughter also would get her period at 7 ... the grandma could be as young as 14 .... wow, that sounds really strange.

And just to add: Some years ago, I saw a newspaper report about a girl from South America (I think Mexico or something like that). Something was "wrong" with her body - she reached puberty when she was 2 !!!! When she was 8, she had sex with a boy (because she wanted it) and got pregnant ... so this is probably the youngest mother ever ... but of course you never know if this newspaper reports are true.

As for smilingdingo .... maybe you should talk to your wife and tell her how you really feel about your stepmother. I mean, tell her that it's more then a crush ... maybe your fantasy could become reality.
