We've all had the experience. We're having lunch somewhere or at the supermarket picking up something for dinner, and suddenly we see her....that perfect beauty, the one who takes your breath away and leaves you utterly dumbfounded and speechless. It's the one you never forget as long as you live. Here's mine....

I was having a burger and fries with a friend just off Union Square in San Fran. We were chatting away and enjoying ourselves, listening to the trolley bells ringing outside. It was late evening, around 10 p.m., when suddenly I looked up and saw a woman more beautiful than any I had ever seen before in my life. She defied all my former expectations of beauty, toppled all my dead ideas of what I was into. She was amazing. Tall, with long flowing reddish blond hair. Perfect pale skin. Blue, blue eyes with long lashes. A stunning body. She was wearing a long black coat, a white t-shirt, jeans, and sexy zip-up boots. She was beyond belief. I sat there staring at her the whole time and couldn't pick my mouth up off the table. Unreal.

What was your experience like? Most beautiful woman you've ever seen in real-life? How did you feel?

Never had that experience. (or I would have remembered ;) )

Seen plenty of beautiful women, my cousin was probably the most strikingly beautiful woman I've ever known or seen. Maybe growing up with it made me blase.

(blase? does that only look odd because there's no accent there?)

Elizabeth Taylor on the set of Giant in the parts filmed in Virginia (I was an extra). Inhumanly gorgeous; took my breath away. And I was only 8 at the time.

I've never "seen" the most beautiful woman I've ever seen ... but I've felt her.

Just look in the mirror, Imp. ;)

For me, it would be Bo Derrick. She and her "buddy" stood beside me while we waited for our "to-go" orders at a Johnny Rocket's (retro-style hamburger joint) in a Reno hotel/casino. Her buddy would probably make my top ten.

Rumple Foreskin

For me it was in the elevator of the Wyndham Emerald Hotel in San Diego. I was at a conference and staying at that hotel. It has one of those glass elevators that runs up and down through the open center of the hotel.

Any way, the door opened and I stepped in and there was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She was standing at the back of the elevator and of course looked at me as I came in. Her eyes melted me instantly like curare to the nervous system. They were a cut crystal sparkling blue. Her hair was a straw blond and fine. I could tell it was long but she had it pulled back and done up. Her skin was perfect and highlighted by immaculately applied makeup. Not much at all because she didn't needed it. There wasn't an imperfection to hide. Soft cheeks with a hit of color. Just the right red lipstick on just the right fullness of her lips. Perfect teeth shown through in the sweetest smile that could only come from the Nobel winner of orthodontists.

She had on a white blouse that was unbuttoned to the middle of her chest. Plenty of skin but nothing revealed. Very sexy yet truly classy. You could definitely tell there was plenty of curves everywhere they needed to be. That blouse was under a vibrant green jacket that went down just to her waist. It was the same color as the skirt that came down to the middle of her thighs. And oh those legs! Long, tanned and almost liquid as they melted into classy white formal shoes.

All the while we rode that elevator, I could smell her, scented with just the right amount of perfume. Not sweet or too flowery. It was a faint and delicate scent to be sure but it affected me like a cruise missile to the face.

Of course I would love to tell you that my suave persona came across immediately and that we had a few $30 cocktails before adjourning to my room for the sexual escapades of a lifetime until dawn rose up over the Pacific. Alas, that was not to be. My brain had turned into instant mush the second I entered the elevator. All I managed was a pathetic return of her vivacious smile.

When the elevator reached the lobby floor, I still hadn't composed myself enough to realize that I was supposed to leave at some point. My last image of that vision was seeing those magnificent legs carry that spectacular figure away as the elevator doors closed with me still inside. It was a good thing too. I do not think I was worthy of walking through her wake.

There's a woman I've seen just once or twice in very bit parts in films (woman walking past sort of shots). I don't even know her name. She's much older than I am, with long grey hair, and she has the most stunning face I've ever seen. It's literally enough to derail one's thoughts; if I passed her person, I know that I would simply turn and stare before my brain kicked in.

It's not a "desire" sort of reaction; just awe. She looks and walks like queens ought to but never do.

My mother.

I don't mean it in the hallmark way either. She's rather ugly on the inside. However, in her younger years, she was the most beautiful woman I have ever known. She looked a lot like Sophia Loren and did her eye make up to accentuate it.
