Feelin' fine a big fat 9!

In early to let the suits in. Yes, I do know the rules, I can play by the rules - however, as you know - I hate the fucking rules. These guys can travel the world and experience no jet-lag, drink scotch until 1am - work on a novel until 2am - rest - get up at 5am and run a mile - eat a light breakfast, read 10 newspapers and be ready for preliminary meetings by 7:30am - big meetings start a 9am. Then they simply start all over again. And they're all over 55 and most up on 65. Jeesh!!!!

Don't be jealous - they have no life except corporate life. Sure they got a wife and kids - usually 3 of each - and the current batch they hardly ever see.

Not the life for me - so I am their BOY. But it pays well. And in turn that goes into "my family." And since I have them as fine examples of "what not to do," I live my life accordingly.

Pretty good, I'd say.

Hope your day is not as stressful as mine will be today. Where ever that day may find you.

Morning everyone. Doing great here. Gee Spark, you have the kind of job stress that I strive on! I love those suits, they are SO easily placated. Call it sucking up, but I DO know how to play them. Good day to you.

Mornin' Sparky

I have dinner with the inlaws so my evening will rank right up there with your day.

Finishing up my Christmas village today but for now the boys just left for school and so I am going to go back to bed for another hour.

Morning over there... It is 20 to 12 at night here so I will be in bed soon but anyway

Day rated about an 8 or 9 especially when I saw the emails I recieved

Anyway ladies and gents... play nice

Yeah Ambro......

You are right. They aren't really hard to keep happy - and at this end of their spectrum if you don't, can't or won't keep'em happy - you're gone fairly swiftly - I've been at this about 15 years now and doing fine. I lucked out early. To keep it simple I was called for a service call - made the fix look easy - "the founder" - (uber-big cheese in charge - you would know him if'n I spilled his name here) - joked around with me and liked me, the fix was in his office. The rest is all world travel and history.

And nope - I don't feel the stress nearly as much as the level of people just below them, the big cheeses, feel - that would be the VP's. They are tortured folks. I remain a Director - I will probably always be a director. I am a TV guy - not a print guy, as "all" of them are. Maybe some day I'll get Executive Director or even Senior Director - but I don't hold too high of hopes for that. I only hope for a 20 year retirement and never having to do business with these folks again. It's not really "them," - I actually like most of'em over a drink or two - they are not bad people. It's their working life-style - just not my philosophical cup of tea. I think their family lives are far too de-emphasized. They have missed something important in life - and don't even realize it. I know this because I know their families too. Of course they see this difference of opinion in me, even though I never really discuss it with them - hence, they like me but - it's Director's Ville and no higher for the old Spark for the rest of his working life.

Luck for me that the Shebabe - who works with me and for the same people - is female and on an upward swing in the organization. I have high hopes for that woman. The UberBabe.

Later.

But then you'd have to.....

figure the angle of trajectory and all possible richochet factors.

Mornin'!

A perfect night:

Chilled champagne.

The theater.

An absolutely wonderful holiday play - "A Tuna Christmas"
Where Helen Bedd and Anita Goodwin aim to please.

Adventures in the bedroom that last into the wee hours.

A crystal clear, 30 degree, sunshiney 10 here...

Good morning all!

Its a little after noon here in Motown....

as I prepare myself for another war. It will be a question of who is more credible, as always.( And I have the diary of the of the lovely Mrs. Wonderful who looks good on the surface until you start peeking underneath. Pretty scarey stuff).

The dog and pony show will hopefully start on 12-12-00. The trial has been postponed so many times that I think that in will finally go, this time. As they say, "Let the lies begin"!!

Actually, after the week I've had, this almost seems enjoyable. I started to think about "the man with no feet" and my anxiety started to lift.

Drive South, where are you at? You've got my curiosity going with your reference to "A Tuna Christmas".
