I tried to come up with a good story idea about an amputee. But I was stumped.

Lizzy you realize the person who says someone else should write a story is the one that has to write it don't you? :p

Besides you should put more stories in your member page. ;)

I only write lesbian romance, which isn't to say I couldn't write a lesbian romance with one of the women having a disability, but I don't think my stuff is what the OP is looking for.

Didn't specify either, so you can do up a lesbian disabled story and show a link in the thread.

dear literotica forum i would like to see more erotic stories featuring characters with disabilities.
I wonder what kind of disabilities the OP is thinking of. Blind? Deaf? Amputee? Wheelchair-bound?

Each of these conditions, and more, have their own group of enthusiasts, with websites, Yahoo groups, etc.

I've got a huge backlog of stuff I'm working on as is, emap, and I really really really don't think he'd be interested in my type of writing. Besides, I keep thinking of the Jody character in The L-Word when I try to come up with a story about disabilities and, since most deaf people don't consider themselves disabled, that's not even all that helpful.

@Ozone, I was wondering this too. As something as profoundly debilitating as a double-amputee or quadriplegic or would the OP be satisfied with an extremely dyslexic character having sex with colorblind people?

How about an insomniac, dyslexic, agnostic?

He stays up all night, wondering if there is a Dog?

I think she means physically disabled Carny, not mentally disabled.

I had an idea once, a lesbian nurse kidnapper, who's accomplice was a quadruple amputee who stayed suspended in the basement.

In fact I think that was the first real story I ever came up with.

So what kind of different ablilities did you have in mind?

That is way disabled. I'd imagine that's exactly what the OP was thinking.

...of course, we haven't heard back from the OP, so who the hell knows.

@xssve--I just got a random PM from someone with a disability saying they loved your idea. Hopefully they sent you the same message. If you haven't written that story yet, it sounds like it'd have an audience waiting if you did.

There's the old story about the woman who places a personal ad, looking for a man to totally rock her world. She hears from a guy who claims he is all that and more. They make a date.

The appointed time comes. Her doorbell rings. She opens the door, and there is a quadriplegic on her doorstep.

She says, "You? How can you possibly satisfy my sexual needs? You don't have any arms or legs!"

He says, "I rang the doorbell, didn't I?"

Fuckin' carny, he's got a tongue, don't he?

In fact, quadriplegic women at least, are capable of orgasm, since the vagus nerve is almost like an entirely different nervous system, separate from the spinal chord, so presumably, would also receive the health benefits of orgasm, even if they can't exactly feel it.

I used to hang occasionally in a singles with disabilities forum (I have ruptured lumbar disks, as well as a special needs child), and there were para and quadriplegic women who needed love, and had healthy attitudes about sex, they just happened to live a long way away from me.

I learned an interesting word the other day, "hemi-plegic." This is someone who is totally paralyzed on one side of their body: arm, leg, etc., but just the right or just the left.

I don't know if that has any story potential, but I thought it was a nice departure from the usual run of the mill waist-on-down or neck-on-down kind of paralysis.

I think that happens after really severe strokes. That would be a very different slant on the story.

That's gotta be fucking frustrating, so much of sex is in your head.

You woman lost both her legs in a car accident! Who would every want her in spite of her obvious beauty?
