In March, U.S. Intelligence informed Trump that Russia put a bounty on the heads of Americans in Afghanistan and that the Taliban has been killing Americans (at least 20 of them) and receiving the bounty from Russia.

But Trump phoned Putin in June for a cordial phone call (only reported by Russian sources) and is trying to get Russia back in what is now the G7 and declaring he's pulling U.S. troops out of Germany.
