intellectual honesty inpsires me to write this.
But few months ago I posted a note saying that this story by K.K. was basically a good one but it had one scene that destoried the story for me. It is the scene whre the main character watches his wife have sex with someone she is dating while they are seperated.
I thought K.K. put it on just because those types of stories call for that type of scene and since he didn't put it in at first, as usual, he put it in here. I further thought it didn't do anything to help the plot, for all that followed could have still happened even if she hadn't had sex. And I added that if she had resisted the temptation then she would have proven to be trustworthy after all. In discussing this scene with some others I one guy who partually agreed with me and one who thought it could have had a real reason. I want to say that even though I believe that the reasons the secopnd person stated could be argured against, I can see how it could have had a bonifide reason to be there. I still think it doesn't have to be there but maybe it does. I did send a note to K.K and he said he had his reasons but didn't want to take the time to say what they were.
And now I think maybe him seeing her as trustworthy may not not fit what happens after the sex with date scene. I go bakc and forth about that.
