Polls are answered by unemployed people at home who are thrilled to have someone to talk to. Approval ratings don't mean he's liked. They're like the Neilsen Ratings. The Networks understand that they will never actually know if more people are watching "Friends" than "Survivor", but they also know that they have to have SOME kind of way to measure ad rates, so they accept the incredibly flawed Neislen findings as law, as do the advertisers. A President's polled "approval rating" is just a tool everyone agrees to use as a way to set agenda.

There's no sense in dragging a minority into this. Poles are no more unemployed than the rest of the population. Except the Croats.

You are right about the people who the pollsters interview. Except the only calls I ever get during the day on my residential line are from telemarketers.
