OBAMA WANTS $50 BILLION TO PAY TEACHERS, COPS, AND FIREMEN.
In my county cops earn $45K, teachers make $55K, and firemen make $75K. The average taxpayer earns $35K cuz WAL-MART is about the best job there is if youre not a teacher, cop, or fireman. Unemployment is about 14%.
Tax revenues are seriously low cuz of foreclosures and awful sales.
The school board suggested that teachers pay $25/month to help with their free health insurance, and the gals went postal. The county asked the firemen to take a 5% cut in pay, they refused, and 25 positions were cut. Seventy-two grand is too much like slave labor they said.
The Democrats killed $30 Billion for extended unemployment money for the peasants, I mean jobless taxpayers, in May.
