Yum! maybe just his daughter not even from marriage...a reason for the curent wife/so to be in the dark, hence the reason he "has" to go through with it?

I tend to enjoy more of a we shouldn't but we have to insest line. Then enjoyment as it goes along. I think when it just happens in stories it's kind of borning. Guess thats my want for the man to be good, but kind of bad too.

Considering Incest isn't my thing I think you might have hit ona really good idea. For the record my problem with Incest is the same as my problem with Celeb stories. They are pretty universally poorly written and try to get by purely on their subject matter. And since most of of the Lit writers aren't terribly talented trying to focus on something subject tends to falter. My opinion.

I can see how you would feel that way but don't think it's fair to lump all writers together. With that said why don't you fix what you think is broken and share your ideas in writing with us?? I'm always up for a good story and love to hear others views on similar subjects.

I agree it's a rare author that can please all. Personally I like buildup in my reading but many authors are either into too much detail in the begining or not enough. I think you find the same range in adult movies. Some people like a story, some just want a good scene. It's all about personal preference and that can make it difficult to please the masses.

almost everything has been " done before", especially with the number of incest stories on Lit ( now over 10,000).

Which means that done well, with interesting new twists, an "old" idea cbecomes new again.
