More good news from SCOTUS: 16,000 federal employees do not have to be rehired

Ah yes. Let's celebrate the equivilent of "small town USA" losing their jobs and adding to the increasing unemployment levels which were at record lows when President Biden was in charge.

You guys will bite of your nose to spite your face.

Another "big win" for BabyBoobs…

#winning #bigwinning

😑

Meanwhile:

From a CNN report:

“All that the court said here is that the nonprofit organizations who obtained an injunction in San Francisco weren’t the right parties to challenge the mass firings,” he said. “It’s another win for Trump, but once again only with regard to who can and can’t sue, and in which courts. Other challenges to the mass firings have already resulted in rulings against the government in other cases, and those remain in place.”

😳

Oops.

😑

It’s a nothing "win" for Trump and BabyBoobs.

But the cruelty and glee exhibited by the MAGAts in relation to the firings and the potential firings is noted.

That ^ will be justification for a lack of empathy from decent, intelligent individuals when "something" bad happens to the sadistic MAGAts.

👍

Whitfield was a "developer"…

Coincidence???

🤔

The states can fund their own education systems.

My only issue with eliminating the Dept of Ed is that there needs to be a uniform education standard across the nation and eliminating the Dept prevents that from being implemented.

Without a uniform standard what you get is one state exclusively teaching creationism and another teaching nothing but evolution. If a student in State A moves to State B, they're in trouble because they lack the underlying basis in whatever new standard they're required to be educated in. This results in failing grades and lifetime loss of opportunity.

BabyBoomer50s calling others "racist":

Like many progressive Democrats, she is an unhinged racist.

BabyBoomer50s being racist:

[Elizabeth Holms riots] Geez, the case hasn’t even gone to the jury and the rioters in CA are already looting the high end fashion stores. If the verdict goes the wrong way the streets of Walnut Creek, San Francisco, and LA could be filled with blondes in black turtlenecks. Not even going to guess how this would all go down if she were black.

Not entirely true.

President Trump is exercising executive power in aggressive and often novel ways, and opponents are suing to stop him. But in a trio of recent orders, the Supreme Court has sent lower-court judges an important reminder that they must still respect judicial rules and procedures.

LMAO. It's easy to envision all the activist judges sitting in their high chairs banging their fists on the bench and throwing tantrums like two year olds who didn't get their way. Somebody make a meme. :D

Not entirely true.

What isn't "entirely true" about it?

I have an issue with the DOE foisting itself off on the people with it's lame assed policies designed to harm children and their parents, but that's because the DOE has lost its way regarding what its supposed to be doing.

The DOE should set national proficiency standards. That's it. Graduation or advancement in school should be measured on objective results from standardized testing. If a particular school wants to go beyond the "Three R's" that's fine, but the students must be able to perform to the required standard because that's the minimum.

Beyond that the DOE oversteps. Like it does now.

Firing government employees doesn’t even make a dent in government spending. It’s performance art, and the pointless cruelty is a bonus for MAGAs.
