I am currently writing a futanari story. In the story there are only girls but some of the girls have both a cock and a pussy. I was wondering where such a story should be placed? It is only girls so it could be lesbian. Some might put it in the transsexual or crossdresser part but i dont feel like that fits my story at all as they are not crossdressing nor transsexual as all those with both genders in the story feel like women and look like women.

Where are other futanari stories put on the website? I would really appreciate help and guidance on where my story should be submitted.

Funtari stories belong in the Transexual/Crossdressing genre as a transexual is the closest thing to a Funtary to exist in the real world.

If you think it fits someplace else better for whatever reason, like perhaps sci-fi/Fantasy or as the above poster did Romance I highly advise that you mention in the description exactly what the story is about or you'll get flamed to hell and beyond.

Yes i plan to write a description of how Futanaris in my story works so that everyone not interested quickly can move on. There should also be other hints about in topic or possible with description of the main characters before the story starts.

If it has futanari, I think it "covers" transsexuals. Just sayin'. The problem with putting it elsewhere is that people who expect sci-fi/fantasy aren't necessarily open to chicks with dicks, whereas you're more likely to get an appreciative audience in transsexuals/crossdressers. Besides, they're a great audience. I love writing for them.

I disagree with the above--if there is any kind of science or mystical aspect to the transformation or existence of the futanari, it will be fine in Sci-Fi/Fantasy. I've been watching the Sci-Fi section for months and several futanari stories have shown up, always with "futanari" in the description so people know what to expect, and they do not get flamed at all. Sci-Fi readers not interested just don't read it, and those that read it score well and comment.

There is such a wide variety of possible topics in the category that the readers "shop" more for setting/theme/mythos than they do for strictly the physical acts or features of the players. The universe matters more than the sex to the Sci-Fi readers.

Put futanari in your tags as well and people find it regardless of whether they think to look in Sci-Fi or not.

I agree that you can survive the Sci-fi/Fantasy club. I'm just saying the Trans club as has already been mentioned is one of the greatest crowds out there. Might not be a lot of them but damned if they don't lap up everything they're given. Course that might have something to do with them being one of the most under loved categories.

Of course. I was responding to the statement that Sci-Fi readers don't welcome or are surprised by chicks with dicks. *shrug* It's not true from what I've seen.

However, it's completely up to the author where he puts it (no pun intended). To me it would depend the focus: if he puts a lot of effort into creating a new world or reality in addition to the sex in which to submerge the reader, truly, put it in Sci-Fi. If the chosen universe is more incidental, or if it is simply in the modern world, then yes, maybe Trans would be the better fit.

A Fantasy Futanari Story

I have the start of a story that's a little odder than normal...

Let's bite the bullet, it's involving Minotaur's. Added to make it different from the norm.

By the Horns
The gist is that a Spanish Fight Bull (Spanish guy) is trying to hit on a buxom Holstein Cow (buxom German-Scandinavian girl) after a bullfight (wrestling match). She's sort of a prim and proper type coming from a highly distinguished family but would like to try the young rugged guy out and they start to flirt. They're a minutes from leaving the bar and going to find a room when they're interrupted by an Aurochs (I imagine her as being like a tall and busty heavily tanned Mediterranean woman), who's very tipsy and begins hitting on both of them. The pair decide to go for a threesome, the guy because he gets to score with two girls, and the girl because the other woman was very flattering (while most guys would try not to stare or pass comment on a ladies breasts, Holstein's absolutely love hearing people talk about them). They get in and the Aurochs sort of takes command as the other two are still young and inexperienced with sex, while she's more versed with the carnal arts.
I'm rambling, long story short, the couple find that the Aurochs is packing both sets of equipment.

I wouldn't discourage you from posting in sci-fi if there are sci-fi aspects to your story but I just wanted to point a few things out.

1) Transsexual women BY DEFINITION "feel like women."

2) Most transsexual women "look like women" after a moderate amount of medical transition and most people can't even tell if someone is trans unless they are very early in their medical transition of have not been able to start yet.

3) As to the "Penis and a vagina" thing, I have actually known people in real life who had that -- both intersexuals born that way, and transsexuals who for whatever reason chose not to remove their penis. It's not common, but it is possible. So just having women who are actually women but also happen to have a penis isn't sci fi. There are real people in the world just like that.

4) Shameless plug, but you might want to read How to write realistic transsexual characters for a better idea of what real life transsexuals are like, since you seem to think we are something that we are not.
