Now, what does that have to do with not allowing people to buy computers? Anyway my kids could read before they started school....Im not responsible for the lame parents who didnt take the time to teach their children to read.........Weevil said:And somehow more of their kids can read than yours.
Wild, huh?

I'll work on itAzwed said:I am sorry this has been really bothering me ever since you started posting.
Good god could you please stop doing the "........" thing between sentances. I don't know if you are meaning to make that look like a converastional pause or you thinking between statements or what but it is annoying as hell.
Whenever I try to read a long paragraph by you all those stupid "......" things just make it seem like one run on sentance. They make it hard to read.
So since they have taught everyone to read they should take it a step further and allow them access to the world outside their island, Afterall if the Cuban people are so happy and content old Fidel has nothing to worry about, Right?Weevil said:
Nice then that their government picks up that slack.

If your country would stop acting like a big whiney bitch and let them compete fairly then I'd agree with you.

And just what does compete fairly mean? Growing sugar? Making Cigars?
I knew some Cubans when I lived in Florida all were anti Communist. But I also picked up on the fact that lots of them missed Battista.kotori said:Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what happens there next. Most of the Cubans I knew in college (and there were a lot in Northern New Jersey) were raving fascists--they were so anti-Communist (for obvious reasons). But I wouldn't feel better with many of them running the place.
Interact the way they did in Angola? Personally I believe the embargo is useless,Especially since we trade with the Chinese. The policy will not change until Castro is gone. Still this little meaningless conversation could not take place in Cuba. That is why Castro in not allowing sale of computers to the general public. He is afraid of freedom of thought, which shows how shallow the ideology happens to be.Weevil said:
I mean interact fairly with the biggest governments in the world.
Tell you what, I think the Cubans should allow their people to go to america the second the Americans let their people buy their cigars.
