More exposure of the police state.

Looks more like manufactured outrage...

yes....when you can go to prison for violating and obscure Hondurian law in america that's not an overstepping of gov power, it's manufactured outrage.

So when do we start arresting and prosecuting people for violations of let's say Thai law? Why not? gotta keep the private prison industry going man...let's just make it all illegal!

While I think it's rather good entertainment, I did chuckle a time or two, it's also mostly manufactured bullshit when it's sold as fact. The guy that did the time for importing lobster tails, ten to one there was other charges. But telling the whole story doesn't make for good TV now does it?

What about all the other stuff? like the woman arrested for filming the po po from her own front yard? Guess she had it coming too...

I've seen this kind of stuff before. For everyone that is real, there's at least a dozen that are manufactured. The man is in business to get rating. He does it by making us think there is a lot more of something then there really is.

He may have one or two in there that are really an outrage, but the rest are half stories, blanketed in omissions and fuzzy facts to make them sound worse then they are.

I never ever believe anything like that until I can hear/read the entire story.

even if 1 of those stories was true....it's fucking ridiculous none the less.

I'll have to agree, yes it is. If. That's a very big word for only two letters.
I refuse to be puppeted into being all outraged over the entirety, when only a fraction is true. I'll reserve my outrage for that time when the wheat and chaff are separated. Then I'll be as vocal as any, probably more than most.

Actually the stuff in the video isn't very new...well...of course new laws are, but there has been over the top stuff going on for quite a while. There's just more and more of it every day.
The raw milk story is fact.
The lemonade stands are fact.
Police breaking in to the wrong house and killing animals, and people, is fact.
Obviously the drug war and prostitution war is fact.
A bit of independent research will turn up a lot of examples.

The upshot is that people in the US love to control other citizens. I don't get it, but it's a fact.

Off topic, this video on the same page was enlightening (I don't agree with the title, it's detracting):

I've never been able to stand to watch her talk for long, but I watched all of this one. I never really realized what and idiot Coulter is....actually I'm not sure if she's a real idiot, or if her thinking is so muddled and illogical that she just comes across as one.

Alert me when someone films John Strossel having a "nervous breakdown" whilst naked. LEMONADE2012!

Yea that's a good one....shows exactly how neo con's will come up with any excuse/reasoning to support the fact that their "limited government, freedom, liberty, and personal responsibility" mantra is a bunch of bull shit and they will come up with any excuse to justify their actions that contradict said mantra.
