I think this is called Nyhavn canal. I think it means "New" canal in Danish, but don't quote me on that. This was the best part of Copenhagen. Lots of pictures to come

Don't listen to him. I saw all 300 shots and they weren't so bad. Gleam, you did pretty well considering you've never operated a camera before.

Great pics...and I should know...

....for I was there last month...on both ends of a Baltic cruise. Had lunch on that street, twice; rode the canal boat; and marveled at the Little Mermaid. Stayed across from Tivoli Gardens, and went to a Manhatten Transfer concert one night. It is a fun city, as were all the others on this trip. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks again for sharing...

Nice pics!

But maybe you should try increasing the brightness on them. When I scanned my pics in, they were pretty dark until I did some photoshop work to make them look like the originals.

Gleam I've discovered that pictures show different depending on your monitor.

The pictures I posted on this thread are taken with a digitial camera, and to me they look great. And I did notice that yours was a bit bright, at least on my monitor.
