I've got a widget on my Mac's dashboard that does much the same thing.
And I've got one on my cell phone, but it's always off by 3 hours.

That sounds like a time zone setting you need to make somewhere.

Yeah, there are a lot of things like this out there. Before windows, I paid $50 bucks for a dos program that did this. There is/was a company that made a large world map that did this for like $2000 or more. Heard at one time, that all the government big wigs had to have them in their office as a status thing.

Times a changing, eh? :)

Also kinda depressing, since it shows that I sleep so long in the mornings that I miss half of all daylight.

Back when the earth was flat we didn't have this problem. :(
Yeah, but we kept sailing off the edge. Put a real crimp in Carnival Cruise Lines revenue.

The DOS program I had that did this, you could zoom in and literally watch the line for twilight moving.

Um, actually, the flat part that faced down... that was dark.
Not true, when the earth was flat, before Magellan met queen isabella of spain and they had a love child who became Hanibal that led the A-Team, the Earth was actually moebiously flat which meant that all sides of the Earth faced the sun. As proven by the Egyptian guy that could do complicated sums in his head. His name was Capricornus for whom the fish-tailed goat was named - a popular delicacy in korean coffee shops (not to be confused with Amsterdamish (holland, dutchland or nether-netherland.) coffee shops as frequented by welsh smut writers.)

Yeah, but you just had to dig a short ways and, voilà - daylight!

(Even though he knows a lot about history and stuff, Gauche's theory was way too complicated, so we took him out and burned him as a witch.)

Simple is not a a label I'd apply to you.

A verbal flibbertigibbet would be the closest. But wouldn't quite catch the full essence of you.

Am I a smooth talker or what?

Can't you just banish him or something? We don't want him to die. He's quite entertaining sometimes. :D

Now I'm wondering how the people who were on the dark side didn't just fall off...
