Ewww. I could not bring myself to write about a living person without their explicit consent. It's almost like, well, just ewww. I feel like a ranker version of the Enquirer doing that. It feels like being dipped in motor oil and covered with weasel fur.

My stories
I like writing celebrity stories, it's so easy. Ready made characters that people know and can identify with. Admittedly I don't get as many hits on my celebrity stories as on my other topics, but I get higher votes.

I do not know any famous person.
I'm finding it difficult to write about a famous person, simply because I do not know anyone remotely famous. So to name someone and not know who they are, and still describe what they are like and what they do and how they do it. It's simply not my cup of tea.
Even if people easily relates to a famous person, know what they are like to an audience, does hardly mean that the person is the same as they are stripped from make-up and clothes and lay in bed at night.
To me it would be better to write about a person you've made up yourself, which might have similar character references as a famous person, but without naming him or her. That would also be a way to respect the private life of the person you have counterfeited.
Yet, not all think alike...
