If you need to give a gift, the best one you can do is to get some kind of closable container, like a rubbermaid one, fill it with different kinds and sizes of paper, crayons in a lot of colors, watercolor paints, pencils, and coloring books.
Skip on markers and non-washable paints. Skip on glitter, glue, and scissors. She may be old enough, but let mom decide.
