Of late I have posted a number of stories here on Literotica, and must admit that the positive feedback is somewhat addicting. Who doesn't like to be complimented, especially on something as personally involved as writing? I have heard from more people than I would have thought with positive feedback, perhaps even a flirtation or two.
I got one today that just kind of makes me scratch my head. In my story "Keeping Her Promise" it details an online affair between two married people that evolves into a real life encounter.
I have received a number of replies chastizing an affair of married people. I have a few questions.
If you're so moral to begin with, what the hell are you doing on an internet site that exists exclusively for erotic content?
Do you understand the difference between fantasy and reality?
And finally, if someone is going to impose whatever thoughts, moral or otherwise to an "Author" (I use that as a broad stroke when referring to myself) then do they do the same to any other Author that uses infidelity or another immoral behavior in their writings? If so I'm guessing that the mailboxes at Harlequin Romance are full of such folks aghast at the behavior of the characters in their books.
I don't get these people, and quite frankly they just plain piss me off. I guess I should have solace in the fact that they don't have the guts to even sign their name or leave a return email.
Sorry, I just needed to vent.
