Yesterday I put a call out to all music lovers to help me recall music from the
70's and the responses really got me (and probably most of them) into reminicing and feeling nostalgic.

Got me wondering...does anybody remember what song they lost their virginity to? Was music playing? When you hear that music, does it take you back there? :)

For me it was Pink Floyd The Wall (Dirty Woman of all things...LOL )

I don't recall that one - I'm thinking no music - but I do remember a few weeks later when for the first time we were able to spend a whole night together - hard to do at age 16. We were lying in bed cuddling, the radio was on, and suddenly this song was playing:

♫ Lets spend the night together
Now I need you more than ever
Lets spend the night together now ♫

:D

PS. Not a very romantic song, actually, but it wasn't a very romantic relationship, either.

"Thank You" -- Johnny Guitar Watson. Very appropriate.

The album was "A Real Mother For Ya" -- even more appropriate, I haveta admit

Awesome. A Real Mother For Ya is one of my favorite albums, and connected in my memory to sex as well.

Steve Miller's Anthology album was playing in the other room when I lost mine.

As far as music-sex memory lane goes, Roxy Music's Avalon...:)

good lord i cant recall but i think there wasn't any music but then again I have forgotten other stuff about the first time so there you go. (okay i was a whole lot nervous and well excited some details just went away) Now i feel the need to ask the other person.

I never noticed. I really don't think the guy's car had a radio. Probably whatever was playing on Top 40 in September, 1974.

Lessee now...1958...back seat of my dad's Buick...my best buds little sister...I was 17...she was 16..**** 40 down low on the radio...there was an instrumental playing called 'The Enchanted Sea' by The Islanders...I bought the 45 later and about wore it out playing it while we...anyway, that was it. :D
