We seem to be in quite a musical frame of mind these days. Which is interesting, since I was thinking about posting this topic days ago.

Would you agree that a piece of music has the capability to alter (or even just compliment) your mood? If so, what music can make you feel the following moods (I've listed mine beneath):

Happy/Content

We're Here For A Good Time - Trooper

Romantic

I have at least 3 here: Heaven - B. Adams, Unchained Melody - Righteous Bros., All I Ask Of You - Phantom of The Opera soundtrack.

Relaxed

Pachebel's Canon in D

Excited

Tub Thumping - Chumbawamba

Powerful

I Am What I Am - Gloria Gaynor

Depressed

Unloved - Jann Arden, On My Own - Les Miserables soundtrack

Also, what is your strongest memory song? You know, that song that, whenever you hear it, makes you think of a specific time, event, place, etc.

Mine would have to be "I'll Make Love To You" by Boyz II Men. Used to be 'our song' with an ex and I. I heard it on the radio for the first time since we'd broken up a year or so later. Started crying, right there in the car for no good reason.

HOW NICE....ANOTHER REPEATED POST

No matter what kind of mood I'm in, I had an Earth, Wind, & Fire CD that I would play to put me in a good mood. I would play these 3 songs in this particular order to alter my moods:
"In The Stone"
"Saturday Night"
"I Write A Song For You".
