Saira was making dinner. It had been two days since she started her job as a maid in the giant isolated manor. She hadn't met the residents, just the agent that set her up with the job. He was so nice and handsome, and he spent the whole day yesterday teaching her the works. And then he left. It sucked a bit, being along. Gregory was blonde and fair and his eyes were super blue. He said he'd be back to check up on how things were going. Then he left and she went to bed. She woke this morning and cleaned, swept, dusted. It was sparkling, more so than it was before she arrived.
It was so lavish! And she got her own little apartment out back, her own maids quarters. And the pay was incredible. She just wondered when she would meet the family she was working for.
Saira finished up her cooking. Fresh bread and potatoes and grilled salmon. She loved cooking, so that part of the job was more of a perk. She hoped the tenants likes her food. She brought the plates up to the rooms, leaving them by the doors like Gregory had told her to.
But to her surprise one of the doors slowly started to open. She looked up in shock. "I'm sorry, it's just me. The new housekeeper. Saira."
