Monster Girls Harem story

I was thinking of starting a Monster Girls harem like story but with different Monster Girls involved than the TV series. I'm trying to find a good start to it though so i could use some ideas. My main thought right now is the hero character saving the first monster girl by murdering her minder and then breaking in the brothel where there are some other Monster Girls.

Does that mean the hero is trying to rescue them from the harem? Our should he just be a patron, maybe a first-time customer?

He's rescuing them from the brothel, they decide to move in with him and form a harem.
