We love that show. It's the first I've ever seen go from cable to network, if only for a test run.

I loved Wings. Steven Weber is playing the geeky guy in the Broadway version of the Producers. Tim Daly is playing an off-network lead role in The Fugitive (new version). Tony is in Monk. The rest kinda fell off the planet. Though Lloyd is utterly adorable.

Stark Raving Mad

My first taste of Tony Shaloub's genius was the briefly lived but much loved Stark Raving Mad sitcom, I then had a second helping of his dead on-deadpan style in Galaxy Quest.....My only concern is if Monk will be a victim of all tragically hip television programs and slowly be dumbed-down for the general viewing public, the true crime will be if that happens. I'm not certain how many PBS Connections fans are here but this sadly did happen to James Burke's masterpiece when it went to cable in a new format of Connections 2, which violated the breakneck speed of the original by having halting recaps of the show's progression after each commercial interuption. If I may borrow a much overused quote, "oh the humanity of it".......

Wings was hysterical. The wedding episode still makes me pee my pants.
