I'm about fed up too. They all need taken out to a farm and worked hard for about oh....10 years and try living on 30k a year. I wonder if that would even pay for their drugs?

I absolutely agree with both of you Dreamer and Heavy. Pro sports salaries have gotten so out of control. Someone needs to take a bat to both owners and players...we the fans need to go on strike and get those out of control ticket prices lowered 50%.

Go watch professional soccer. You can still get tickets for $15-20 most places. They're good players and with support, they might get to become world-class soon. There are certainly a number of world-class players playing already and the average level of play is improving all the time.

The girls professional soccer league is fun. The girls make an average of $46K per year and they play their hearts out. The come to the stands after the games to sign autographs and the ticket prices are often under $15.
