Moment from the movies

I live a pretty much work-home(to lit)-work life, and I don't get out much. It does get boring after a while.

But sometimes, something happens that reminds one of what life could be, only if...

I arrived to work today, and there was a sign on the door: coffee shop on the lobby, come drink coffee.

A business magazine set it up so we stayed around long enough for them to peddle to us the magazine.

I approached the coffee stand, smiled to all the people who I usually don't meet. Then my eyes met a sittting man on the couch. He seemed surprised, then smiled.

I took my cup of coffee, talked to this and that person. Again our eyes met, and he smiled again. I turned to leave, and he got up and started following me.

Well, I was not in the mood for flirting at work that early in the morning, so I passed into the restricted area, where I could not let him in, and headed to my floor.

Just as the elevators doors closed, I heard him shout, "Wait, don't go!"

I smiled, and I pressed the button.

Maharat

(no, I did not have coffee all over my shirt. I checked!)
