Very interesting story idea. I do think his biological mother would have either an advantage of disadvantage in this situation though, depending on how open to incest the family is. Like, it's going to be different if she's the woman who gave birth to him, right? Either for better or for worse. You relationship with your biological mother is always going to be different, either making the situation weirder or making him more attached to her than the step-mom.

One way to even the playing field is to have him be adopted or to think of another reason that would make both moms not related to him by blood.

I like it! If I were to write it (which I'm not) I would make the step-mom a younger, much hotter "trophy wife" type of woman*. That is her advantage. The biological mother's advantage is that she raised him and knows him better. That should make for a good competition.

In addition to the possibility of step mom being a trophy wife, the added incentive that step mom might want to have her own children and dad (because of age, work stress, etc) is having trouble delivering in that department. I missed an obvious twist. While the seductions will escalate past panty whacking, he starts the ball rolling with a pair he bought for himself. When one mom or the other first catches him pulling his pud, she asks where they came from. He refuses to answer. She guesses "the other woman", he sees his opening, and he takes it from there. I love the idea of the revenge competition.

LOL! I've written a few stories. I know the process.

What I've learned is that if I get feedback while I'm writing the story, it's easy to incorporate it as I write. I've got a friend who I send each section to as I write. He came up with a wish list of what he'd like to see in the story. And that's given me ideas for several scenes that I probably wouldn't have come up without his feedback. If he gave me the wish list after I've written the story, that would mean a major rewrite to work those ideas into the story.

I have a number of half-written stories that the feedback I've gotten on them is that they aren't up to the standards of my other stories. So they'll probably never be finished. A lot better to hear that feedback when they are half-written then when they are completely written.

It's good for both of them to make it more believable, but I think especially his biological mom would need a big push to step things towards actual sexual acts. If you want to go for realism, anyway. But if she's feeling like her son is slipping away from her and he's starting to prefer spending time at his dad's place with "that bitch", she might work really hard to at least catch up, if not to take things even a step further. It would be more so a desperation move from her side, where as the step-mom would be trying to please the father by convincing the son to stay at their place.

the back story of a previous "lost" son is a good driving force - or even a daughter, or son, who have already moved in with dad and stepmom so she doesn't want to lose both of them.

As developed in a message - perhaps mom encourages his sexual explorations, trying to set him up with the cute girl next door - but she refuses his advances. Frustrated, he retreats to masturbating, a lot. to entice him a bit, mom "accidentally" leaves a pair of her panties with his clean clothes after doing a load of laundry. She discovers that he is using them as she expected. Then gives him a flash or two - nothing too extreme, but just to encourage him and make him comfortable. OK, in virtually all of the suggestions so far, we have some sort of competition between the two wives..... yes, it happens but...really?

Why not a story where the issue is 'like father/like son'? The first wife was glad to get rid of her ex and felt sorry for the new wife because the husband was: a) an ass with no sexual skills; b) blowing his money on.... (name something stupid); c) incredibly 'sexist' and frankly only cares for the son.
Who is an early college boy who realizes he has some of the same quirks as his old man and doesn't really want to end up that way. Maybe his high school sweetheart has just dropped him (when everybody thought they were about to get married, including the mom and stepmom.). He's broken hearted and his dad says there's more pussy out there.......

Somehow he ends up spending a couple of weeks at the family cabin with his mom and for some reason, the step-mom joins them. They both realize he can be 'saved' from being awful and given that the boy is a normal horn-dog, maybe he sees both women in the hot tub together and they are agreeing about what an inadequate ass the husband is.

But there still needs to be a hook. It could be something the boy does, like stealing both of their panties from the dirty clothes bin. Or it could be that one of the mother's finds a detailed letter from the ex-girlfriend discussing what a selfish guy he is and how he doesn't understand the sexual needs of a woman.

I think a version of the latter might move the women to 'take pity on the son'.....and then add an evening drinking wine and getting him to admit to his poor sexual performance and then.........
