A friend of mine posted something related to this on his Blog...
I hadn't even realized it had happened...

I didn't know this girl...But I met her in passing at least once...
Amazing how things that happen in your back yard can escape your notice..Isn't it?

that story is stupid.
she was screwed up way before she was a bondage model but they still blame that for her death.
she was a druggie. they od all the time. sad but nothing new.

"those gazelle like legs"

Oh yellow press is so alive and well. God this thing reads like victorian penny dreadfuls.

The things I blame are the drugs and her stupid fucked up choices.. I did modeling my whole life and not once have I let drugs interfer with my choices... drugs are STUPID... (I've watched my mom be a herion addict her whole life and struggle with those choices...)

Its not a healthy thing to do and once you get into it... its no one's fault but your own.

Yes, she was on drugs...but where is the photographer/lover's responsibility in all this? With all the shit she had in her system i am sure it was EXTREMELY obvious that she was high...Why did he tie her up in the first place?!?!?! You can't convince me that it wasn't the combination of drugs and bondage that killed her...and therefore this guy has his role in her death.

did he know how much she took?
what she took?
sometimes, if you've only ever known that person on drugs, if they've been doing them for years, they don't seem dangerously high.
he could easily have just thought she was very tired. this was AFTER the session was over.
she was an adult and she chose to take drugs...his only choice was to walk away or not. walking away wouldn't have changed her choices.
he has to live the rest of his life with the guilt & public shame of this already.
nobody who wasn't there knows if he was partly to blame or not.
i think that people just like to have someone to blame.
it makes them feel better for some reason. to focus anger perhaps is easier.

Have to agree....choose to take drugs or drink to excess, and it becomes all to easy to blame someone else instead of take responsibility and take the hard road to recovery...once your on that road, anyone involved professionally in helping you will tell you the choice is and has always been solely yours to make, not anyone else's and if you don't get that, you basically won't have much chance to stay clean forever as the excuses are always there as a prop, excuse when the going gets tough again. I feel for the girl, but ultimately she was already on the path to hell before he ever came into her life...only she could have made the choice to stop.

im sorry for the loss her family and friends are feeling. its sad when someone dies. but it wasnt the bondage that killed her, it was an OD

yup, and now it's just being used as another excuse for the prudes to hammer the lifestyle.

I am not normally prone to excessive sentiment...At least not where people are concerned.. But..
{And kindly forgive the rambling nature of the post....Long day at work.}

I should say.. That no, this is not a particularly good story. It just happens to be the article that I had open when I decided to post.

Most, oddly enough, didn't hammer the lifestyle.... But they DID hammer HIM..

Note: I understand that the DA did drop the charges relating to "defiling a corpse", because they couldn't be proven conclusively. Something about him managing to "lose" the photo's they knew he took.

Yah know...I met this girl... And a bunch of people that I know actually knew her reasonably well... Whatever the mistakes this girl made, and she did make quite a few, it's not exactly an exclusive club. She wasn't that much different than a dozen subs I have met that some asswipe was taking advantage of.

The "photographer" however...Is going to prison..
He belongs there...For manifold reasons... And I truly hope he gets to experience the full "prison experience".

Do I find some moral dichotomy inherent in this feeling???
Nope..
But then, I suppose that is my own prediliction toward the way I have always felt that subs {or anyone for that matter} should be treated..

Call it all a cautionary tale... Call it Fred if you want...
I just want to take this asshole out in the yard behind the jail and introduce his occipital lobe to a .22 short...
