I was one who asked Laurel to let there be a moderator on the poetry board. I felt it would benefit us to have a group of poets, who have been here for quite awhile and care about the community, be in a position to do more for the community.
The threads stuck at the top (not the new poems thread) involved a lot of work. We want the regulars and newbies to have resources there for them to easily find.
I made the E List thread this morning after working on it for hours. I did it because I thought it would be a nice addition to the board. I locked it so that it would stay clutter free and easy to navigate.
I also happily made a copy of that thread for a member of the board so there could be discussion. I am always happy to do such things. I want very much for this place to be a positive environment. We do get crazy here and that's fine. But it nice to also have a little order just to keep things on track.
When someone is not happy about the way things are handled, they usually let me or the other mods know. Good. It should be that way. Tell us what you want, what you need. But also try to be understanding. We're all here just wanting to have a great time and do our poetry thang.
