As chatters have noticed, there have been numerous postings, room names and profiles created to spread malicious accusations against various Mods over the past month or so. Yes, the Moderator Team is aware. Yes, the Site Owners are aware.

Obviously, this site is very dedicated to keeping Literotica safe and legal. So, if any verifiable evidence is provided, the Mod Team and the Site Owners would not hesitate to take action.

There is no conspiracy to hide illegal activity as to date there has been no evidence provided beyond typed up fiction that scatters pieces of truth, manipulates information, and/or flat out writes fabrications. However, the rules of the site are clear. We are not to discuss illegal topics such as those being thrown around as accusations. The room names being created are illegal topics, the posts being made are meant to stir up larger discussions of those illegal topics. They are violations of the Terms of Service for this site. Likewise, providing doctored, manipulated, or false evidence is a form of harassment and against site rules. So, these are profiles, posts and rooms that must be removed, per the rules.

Please, please, please… we want everyone to know that removing posts and profiles that violate the Terms of Service for the site does not, now nor ever, equate to silencing voices of honest concern. You are always welcome to reach out to a Mod, ask questions, even post in the forums. Just please follow the posted rules. We will only take action if there is a rule violation at play.

With that said, Moderators attempt to ban the profiles, who open such rooms or post such links, from chat due to the repeated rule violations. However the profiles enter, create rooms or drop the link and then leave immediately in an attempt to not get caught. So, the profiles that continue to enter chat to create these rooms or post the links to fabricated reports are being sent to the Site Owners to be banned. Some have already been banned, again, for violating the Terms of Service for this site. This is a process that does take some time and as we’ve all seen, they just create more profiles to continue. It is a challenge that the Site Owners are aware of. In the meantime, we do ask for chatters to ignore any posted links or the “Harassment Rooms”.

If you or any chatter finds themselves in a conversation where someone is soliciting any kind of illegal topic such as children under the age of 18, bestiality, real experiences or fantasies of real family members, threats, real abuse, snuff, etc… Please take a screenshot of the entire screen to provide as evidence. Likewise, the creation of any room devoted to illegal topics or created to threaten, harass, or make unfounded accusations against another chatter (this means ANY chatter) are also strictly forbidden by Lit TOS and should be reported to a Moderator, then ignored and not joined.

You can report this to any Chat Mod found in Lit Chat (found in the Lobby and/or the Chat Mods Office, usually with a grey star by their names), or a Chat Mod via the forums here. If for any reason, you feel you cannot reach out to Chat Mods or Admins, we do ask you to reach out to the Site Owners. Send your evidence to Laurel.

If you feel it to be compelling evidence to report to the authorities, please do. However, do not be misled by the reports of people focused on harassing chatters. There are many places to reach out and report internet crimes, and few of our chatters are located in the United States for a US National Organization to always play a significant role. So, it is recommended that chatters reach out to their local law enforcement and allow them to follow up as needed. Many countries have a cooperative effort to work across borders for internet crimes. And Law Enforcement has specific methods of contact for the site if needed. There is no need for some random claimed investigation group that violates the sites posted Terms of Service.
