I'm not sure if I would describe it with a simile though, if the intention is to make it clear that the moan is fake?

Otherwise I might read it as just making fun of her weird sex noises. Could be fake, or could just be odd!

That's evocative, but I question how many readers will have heard the sound of a duck passing wind. Though I imagine, aside perhaps from the volume, their farts sound much like any other creature's.
