I'm eating mashed potatoes for dinner.

What are your comfort foods? When do you find you want them?

*loves any food*

*loves sardines while flapping her flippers*

Comfort food? Don't think I have one. I eat a lot of chocolate though. And have some foods that I love to eat when I remember tehm.

Feeling better, lilminx?

I came home from school sick yesterday. I had chicken noodle soup last night. I'm having vegetable soup tonight. If i don't feel better tomorrow, i'll probably make a pot of potato soup. Comfort food = soup for me.

What I had for dinner tonight was my comfort food.

Steak, medium rare over a bed of salad greens with crumbly bleu cheese and Italian dressing!

I am waiting to find out what desert might be ;)

Chocolate pudding
Wonton soup
Toasted everything bagel with butter
Mac & Cheese

Getting there, MG- thanks for asking. I hope you feel better soon as well.

I usually do like soup for when I'm feeling sick, but yesterday I had French Onion soup and I felt awful afterwards.

I'm with I'mVan--I don't really think there is one thing that I would call a "comfort food," something that will make me feel all warm and homey (if that's what it means). I do like chocolate, there's no denying that. Maybe lasagna. My mother was (is) a terrible cook, so there isn't much that I really crave from growing up--I was always more interested in quantity than quality. She didn't do a bad lasagna though.

acitore, red wine tastes much, much better when its ever so slightly warm, achieved by warming the glass a little

the flavour seems fuller

Thank you much. I'll test this out tonight.

Any cooking by my mother qualifies.

And I have a supply of her chicken soup on hand in the freezer. :)

When the weather is cool, beef and barley stew is my comfort food of choice. In warmer times, my choice is a big bowl of fresh strawberries.

I'm like that too Mischka. In the summer I live on fruits and salads.

Tonight I'm making a pot roast :)

Spahgetti and Garlic Bread

I think warm, comfort foods when it's raining and cold outside.

Brownies are the best! Hot chocolate with peanut butter toast isn't bad either.

As a meal, probably roast beef with mashed potatoes & gravy.

Salmon & potato cakes make me feel pretty comfortable, too.:)
